Born in 1991, Hostasia specializes on resorts, sustainable lifestyle and community centric approach to hospitality and tourism development. We assess sites, provide design direction, develop project management and guide operations. We provide fully customized solutions for clients.

Dorian is a keen jungle runner, a long distance swimmer, a diver, a tree hugger and has a passion for big dogs and horses.

He is known as one of he best hotel planners in Asia and extremely detail oriented. Dorian always meets clients directly. 

​

Prior to starting Hostasia, he successfully planned and opened several award winning hotels and resorts in senior management positions. Since then he  launched some of Asia's most successful properties with well known world class designers such as Bill Bensley, Jean Michel Gathy, Greg Dall, Andrew Frost and others.

​

Bill Bensley and Dorian together did the InterContinental Danang, JW Marriott PhuQuoc, Capella Ubud, Legacy YenTu and YenTu Mountain, Hotel de La Coupole Sapa. All are award winning properties. More to come !

Dorian graduated in hospitality studies from Lausanne Hotel School in Switzerland and Cornell Hotel University, Ithaca, NY, USA and has over 35 years experience in developing unique luxury and bespoke resorts and tourism projects in Asia and Middle East.

Dorian has a top command of marketing driven concepts, design work, space planning and finance related to hospitality and develops strategic management with international operators such as Capella, Four Seasons, Rosewood, Marriott, RitzCarlton, InterContinental, Jumeirah, Starwood and others.

Michelle Chiang remains Hostasia's Malaysian star - Not only has Michelle owned and operated successful restaurants for many years, but  she also has a degree in Marketing and has worked in the banking sector for Citibank and as a foreign exchange broker. Besides being a "foodie" who knows her kitchen rounds extremely well, Michelle is great at customer contact and staff training. As a very profit oriented operator, she has managed projects and operations for Hostasia and would return to work for the right project !

Despite her fondness for chit chat, Michelle  is real gourmet and has passion for organic products.

Graham had dreams of being a water sports and water skiing star in his native Australia, but bad knees and injuries made him a builder.

​

He is our Aussie specialist in sustainable construction environmental solutions and local farming. Food to table is his credo and he brings on an incredible breath of experience to Hostasia.
